"Really family friendly"

After a dissapointment because of valcanic ash. I had promised my 7 year a wee holiday. We tried to get a room at a few mostly overpriced hotels and B&Bs in the area to no avail. What a delightful find the Windsor Hotel was. The family running the place couldn't be any more helpful. The Breakfast was the best ever (I worked in a five star hotel). Cereals, juice, fresh fruit and yogurts, toast will real butter, sausages, potato scones and bacon all butcher fresh. I found the room clean, comfortable with a calming atmosphere. Two minutes from the beach and a brilliant free playpark. We can't wait to get back. Haist ye back!

"Top Marks! Would def stay again!!"

The Windsor Hotel was just perfect. We required an early check in and it was no problem at al. The two ladies who own the hotel were so friendlly and welcoming.  The room was lovely, clean and spacious.  I just have to meantion the amazing breakfast we had in the morning!! It was delicious and the ladies couldn't help you enough, making sure there was enough tea/coffee/toast for you.

If I ever return to ayr for a day trip, I wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else, This is the palce to stya! It is five minutes walking distance from town centre and we even could see the beach from our window!!

10 out of 10! Not one complaint!! :)

"Fab Hotel Great location Excellent service"

Stayed at this hotel during the British Open at Turnberry and Dorothy & Lorraine couldn`t have been nicer. Found everywhere in town was either fully booked or charging over the odds for what was on offer. At the Windsor, although it was a bit more expensive than usual it turned out to be well worth the money. Nothing was a problem for the ladies. As we were leaving early to go to golf, they made us up packed lunches (at no extra cost) The day we stayed for our breakfast I couldn`t believe the size and quality.

Lovely rooms, must be recently decorated as they are really modern. Extremely clean, fresh towels when needed and rooms cleaned, tea trays stocked every day. Very close to town centre. All in all was an excellent break. So thank you very much for a pleasant stay and we`ll be back soon.

"Nice accommodation for a good price"

I stayed a few days in Windsor Hotel. Good breakfast, PC for internet, rooms are comfortable, owner is very helpfull. And 2 minutes away from sea.
